Animal Collective will return with a new album, their eleventh full-length record, Painting With on February 19 via Domino. The band has shared the first single to the follow-up of Centipede Hz, “FloriDada,” available to stream below.

According to a press release, recording for this album began in early 2015, with Noah Lennox, Dave Portner and Brian Weitz sharing demos with the goal to create “really short songs.” Recording took place in the EastWest Studios in Hollywood and the record ultimately features contributions from John Cale, Colin Stetson and was engineered by Sonny DiPerri. 

Painting With will be available in all formats, including CD, LP, which will include three different covers featuring each Animal Collective member. Pre-orders for the album are now available.
