Premiere: Mission South "Peaches"

Mission South will release a new EP, Migration Vol. 2 on April 9. The roots rock trio’s previous effort, Migration, Vol. 1 topped DC’s Independent Music Download charts, while the group finished second in the DC Deli Magazine’s Poll for Best Emerging Artist of 2012. Mission South will perform a variety of gigs over the coming weeks in support of the new recording, including Crawfest in New Orleans with The funky Meters, Honey Island Swamp Band and others. The first single from Migration Vol. 2 appears below where it streams.

Wow, the new track sounds incredible boys. Just found out about these guys last weekend when they tore down the house in Frederick. Definitely going to see them down at SXSW this week. Cheers and thanks for sharing an awesome band Relix!

Definitely one of the best emerging bands out there. I know that once people get a chance to sink their teeth into that sweet, juicy Peaches they’ll be hooked for good. Can’t wait for the rest of the album. This is gonna be big! :-D
