Eric Clapton’s Old Sock

On March 12, Eric Clapton will release his 21st studio recording. Old Sock, his first album since 2010, was produced by Clapton along with Doyle Bramhall II, Justin Stanley and Simon Climie. The record will feature two new original songs “Every Little Thing” and “Gotta Get Over” as well as covers of such artists as Leadbelly, J.J. Cale, Peter Tosh, Hank Snow and Taj Mahal. On Old Sock Clapton is joined by a core group of steady collaborators Steve Gadd (drums), Willie Weeks (bass) and Chris Stainton (keyboards). Guest players include:Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney, Chaka Khan, Jim Keltner and Cale. The complete tracklisting appears below.
