Widespread Panic Confirm Spring Dates with Possible Return to Jazz Fest

In two weeks Widespread Panic will open their Panic en la Playa Dos event in Mexico, which represents the group’s first two shows since returning to the stage for a two night New Year’s Eve run. The band also has just confirmed that it will take to the stage in the early spring as well before a confirmed appearance at Wakarusa in late May. The group will kick things off in St. Louis for two nights, on April 10 and 11, followed by stops in Chicago (April 12 and 13), Minneapolis (April 14), Louisville, KY (April 16 and 17) Columbia, SC (April 23 and 24), Alpharetta, GA (April 26 and 27) and then Nashville (May 3 and 4). One intriguing element is that the group has an open stretch between April 27 and May 3 which suggests that it may be making a return to the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.
