Widespread Panic Confirm 2013 Festival Date, Will Join Of Monsters and Men, Son Volt, Yonder Mountain String Band and Rebelution at Wakarusa

Earlier in the week, Widespread Panic returned to the stage after a ten month hiatus. The group looks to have an active 2013. At the end of January Panic will host its Panic en la Playa Dos event in Mexico and now the group has added its first festival date.

The group will join Of Monsters and Men, Zeds Dead, Yonder Mountain String Band, Rebelution, Son Volt and many others at the 10th annual Wakarusa. The festival will take place at Ozark, AR’s Mulberry Mountain from May 30-June 2. Other confirmed acts include: Quixotic, Tipper, Bombino, SAVOY, Allen Stone, Figure, The Polish Ambassador, BoomBox, The Bright Light Social Honor, ZOOGMA, The Motet, New Monsoon, The Whigs, Shovels & Rope and Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band and Run DMT, among others.

The festival’s second round of artists will be confirmed on January 10. Wakarusa’s third round of artists will be announced on January 17.
