You Could Have Your Photo Published in Relix

Relix has launched an all-new Fan Photo Contest on Facebook. The rules are simple: Just upload an original photo from a live music event that you attended to the Fan Photo Contest app on the Relix Facebook page. Make sure to include the name of the artist, the date of the performance and the venue where it took place in the photo’s description. Next, share the contest with your friends and get as many people to vote for your photo as possible.

The photo that has the most votes by January 14 will be published in the March 2013 issue of Relix. The winner and the runner up will each receive a special Relix Prize Pack, and the top 10 photos will all be published on Relix.com.

Sigh!
Are there any other ways to enter this Fan Contest other than on Facebook? I am one of those holdouts who refuse to use it….

This is a really bad idea. I am sick to death of people taking photo after photo after photo of shows I attend. I say this because everyone has to raise their camera or phone to a level that blocks your line of sight. It wouldn’t be a problem if it was one or two photos, but it is multiple photos. After which time they start taping the performance.
