Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, The Who, Jon Bon Jovi and More to Headline Sandy Relief Show at MSG

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, The Who, Paul McCartney, Roger Waters, Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys and Kanye West will come together on December 12 for the 12.12.12 Hurricane Sandy relief show at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The proceeds from the all-star event, which is being put on by the same group that organized the Concert for New York after 9/11, will go to benefit the Robin Hood Relief Fund’s hurricane recovery efforts. More artists will be added to the already stellar line up in the future, and ticketing information will be made available soon.

The Who were in New York City last night for a performance at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. The band played their classic album Quadrophenia in its entirety, as they have been doing for the entire tour. Paul McCartney was also in the news recently, this time for helping out with a different cause. The former Beatle sported an “Eat No Turkey” shirt for a PETA ad imploring Americans to skip out on turkey this Thanksgiving.
