Coldplay and Jay-Z Announce Joint NYE Show In Brooklyn
Jay-Z and Coldplay have announced a joint New Year’s Eve show on December 31 at Brooklyn’s newly opened Barclays Center. The two acts previously shared the stage on New Year’s Eve 2010 at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. That show included surprise appearances by Kanye West, BeyoncĂ© and John Mayer. Coldplay will also do their own headlining shows at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on December 29 and the Barclays Center on December 30. Tickets to the event go on sale Saturday, November 17. You can watch a video of Jay-Z, Kanye West and Coldplay’s Chris Martin doing “Homecoming” at their 2010 New Year’s Eve performance above.
