A Tribute To Larry Bloch: Relix Live Fridays with Blues Traveler and A Sequence from Wetlands Preserved
A memorial service for Wetlands founder Larry Bloch will take place over the weekend in Brattleboro, Vermont (details can be found here ). As we continue to honor his life and legacy, we have posted new audio and video. Today’s installment of our Relix Live Fridays series presents a rousing segued sequence from Blues Traveler at Wetlands on February 3, 1990 in which the song “Gotta Get Mean” bookends “Brother John” and Gloria.” In addition, we are presenting the opening section from the documentary film Wetlands Preserved: the Story of an Activist Rock Club, directed by Relix executive editor Dean Budnick which explores the origins of the club.
