Phish Lighting Director Chris Kuroda Is Dispensing Justin Bieber Guitar Picks

Kuroda at his other gig

As previously reported, longtime Phish lightning designer Chris Kuroda is working with Justin Bieber on his current tour. Kuroda’s connection to Bieber is the teen idol’s musician director/guitarist Dan Kanter, a devoted Phish fan and friend of the band. Kanter got Kuroda to design the light show for Bieber’s current run of shows and made sure to schedule his tour so CK5 wouldn’t miss any Phish dates. Kanter is encouraging Bieber’s fans to meet Kuroda, too and sent out the following tweet:

Gave @ChrisCk5 a bag of my JB guitar picks. During the countdown go say hi and ask him for one at the sound/light board at the back.

Bieber will perform at Los Angeles, CA’s Staples Center this evening while Phish will return to New York’s Madison Square Garden from December 28-31.

If this doesn’t get Chris laid I don’t know what will…

Justine Bieber guitar picks? I’m sure they were used for some real virtuoso playing. Thats like having a Britney Spears electron microscope.

Kuroda is a good 3 or 4 pitcher in the rooatitn, asking him to more might not happen. He is the most seasoned pitcher in the current rooatitn ahead of Wolf with his Japan resume and I agree should improve a bit this year. Only concern is that Japaneese pitchers tend to drop a bit after the first year (I think hitters get used to their funky windups). Not sure if I want Paul or Repko before the Furcal collision I was a huge fan of Jason and what he brought to the team, last year was his first one healthy in three years and he lost a bit. I hope he finds it and can contribute, but if not Paul is a five tool player who has one of the best arms in the minors.Bring back Brett Tomko to pitch the fifth! Seriously if these losers are the best we can do! Time to seriously look at Elbert and McD! Weaver, Milton, Vargas, Estes and Schmidt are a joke!
