Trey Anastasio Band Expands

The Trey Anastasio Band have shuffled their lineup for this fall’s tour. In addition to mainstays Natalie Cressman, Jennifer Hartswick, Russ Lawton, Tony Markellis and Ray Paczkowski, both percussionist Cyro Baptista and Lettuce tenor saxophonist James Casey will join Anastasio on the road this fall.

Baptista and Anastasio first collaborated when they both sat in with Medeski Martin & Wood in 2000. The percussionist formally joined Trey Anastasio Band in 2002 and remained with the group through 2004. He returned for a few shows in 2006 as well. Casey will replace Russell Remington, who played in TAB from 2001-2007 and 2010-2011. Trey Anastasio Band will kick of their upcoming tour in support of Traveler at Detroit, MI’s The Fillmore on October 18.
