Jamey Johnson and Grace Potter & the Nocturnals have joined the lineup for this year’s Farm Aid. As previously reported, Farm Aid 2012 will take place at Hershey, PA’s Hersheypark Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 22, from 8 to 11 p.m. EDT.

In addition of Farm Aid board members Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews, this year’s lineup includes: Kenny Chesney, Jack Johnson, ALO, Pegi Young & The Survivors and Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real. Young will perform with Crazy Horse while Matthews will appear with Tim Reynolds.

“We are grateful for the overwhelming enthusiasm that Pennsylvania has shown for Farm Aid 2012,” said Jennifer Fahy, spokesperson for Farm Aid. “We hope that people across the country will tune in to farmaid.org to watch the “Farm Aid 2012: A Backstage Pass,” webcast. While we wish all our fans could join us at Hersheypark, we’re glad that those at home have a chance to be part of this music, food and farming event.”

Potter is close friends with Chesney and spent the summer as his opening act. They also recorded a hit duet of “You And Tequila.”

Sorry to hear about your situation. This is rlealy unfortunate, but I’ve seen it happen many times. The truth is that insurance companies use all sorts of data about people all the time. For example when underwriting insurance policies. What State Farm and others have learned is that there is a statistical correlation between good credit and other things they think are important. This may or may not be true, but that’s what they think. Also, it’s legal to use our credit reports for all sorts of things, including getting a job. Now personally I think it’s unfair. People with bad credit ratings probably need the jobs worse than anybody, but can’t get them. Using a number makes it easy for them, and they don’t want to spend the time and money to ask about your situation and see that you are rlealy a great person and would make an excellent employee.Like I said, it’s unfair, but it’s legal. And they have these policies that they don’t break. Insurance companies are big bureaucracies almost like the government. So you can look for a different type of job or work to get your credit score up. But that’s the subject of a different post.
