SiriusXM to Launch Dave Matthews Band Radio

Sirius XM Radio announced today that it will launch a new limited-run channel called Dave Matthews Band Radio. The commercial-free music channel, which launches this Saturday, September 1, will feature music from the band’s entire catalog, interviews and live recordings from the band’s archives. The channel will run through until Sunday September 30 on Sirius channel 142 and XM channel 43.

Dave Matthews Band Radio will launch with an exclusive live broadcast of the Dave Matthews Band concert from the historic Gorge amphitheater in Washington state on Saturday, September 1 will be rebroadcast throughout the month.

The channel will also offer a special preview of the group’s forthcoming album Away From the World, where the band members will personally introduce each song on the album and share their stories about the songs, each other, and their 21-year career on the road.

In other Dave Matthews Band news, the group released a new video for the song “Mercy,” which features a number of images contributed by the group’s fans. Watch the video here.
