G. Love and Brett Dennen Set Sights on Everest
Brett Dennen and G. Love will hike Mount Everest together in November and December. The musicians are scaling the mountain in support of the music and cancer foundation Love Hope Strength. Love Hope Strength conducts bone marrow drives at music festivals and concerts. Since 2007 LHS has registered over 20,000 people to become bone marrow donors and have found over 290 potential life saving matches for patients in need of stem cell transplants LHS has also found matches from Ray LaMontagne, Wilco and many other musicians. Dennen and G. Love recently posted images online of a recent songwriting session in Colorado. The musicians’ describe their upcoming trip as a “musically charged trek” and will perform along the way.
