New Antlers EP

Brooklyn indie rock trio The Antlers" will follow up their 2011 EP (together) with a new release entitled Undersea, coming out July 24 on Anti- Records. Recorded this winter after a year-long tour, the band claims that, even though it only has four tracks, the new record goes “well beyond” the scope of a traditional EP.

Frontman Peter Silberman says that “We’ve searched for patient, colorful sounds and found a meditative calm, a persistent pulse that leaves room for everything to breathe and expand as a new world takes shape.”

The band will build excitement for the new release with a string of live shows, opening for The Shins at a few Midwest concerts this week and then playing on the final afternoon of this weekend’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.

Track listing for Undersea:

1. Drift Dive
2. Endless Ladder
3. Crest
4. Zelda

Upcoming Tour Dates for The Antlers:

6/6 Detroit, MI – The Fillmore w/ the Shins
6/8 Cleveland, OH – Masonic Auditorium w/ the Shins
6/9 Louisville KY – Iroquois Amphitheater w/ the Shins
6/10 Iroquois Amphitheater – Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival
9/22 Asbury Park NJ – Paramount Theatre

Sounds great. I actually didn’t give much of a lisetn to her last album, but I really dug the first. Sounds like she might be hitting her stride right here.
