Bob Weir Sits in with Primus

A classic Weir/Claypool jam

Bob Weir sat in with Primus at Chillicothe, IL’s Summer Camp on Friday. The Grateful Dead guitarist emerged during their set for a take on “The Other One.” Primus’ current incarnation features longtime RatDog drummer Jay Lane. The drummer was also an original member of Furthur and continues to play with Weir in his Scaring the Children trio. Weir and Primus’ Les Claypool have shared the stage a number of times together since collaborating at Gathering of the Vibes in 2000. Weir is at Summer Camp for a performance with Chris Robinson and Jackie Greene.

, my parents sulohd be notified face to face, and not by telephone. I got on the phone line and I said to him, “Yonatan, be strong. I promise you that the State of Israel will do everything in its power and will use all possible resources in the world in order to rescue you and your friends unharmed and whole from this situation. The eurozone is in crisis. Stock markets are in meltdown mode, 15% of Americans are out of work and Bibi rings Obama to pull him out of a sticky situation in Cairo. Does Obama not have anything else to do?And WTF is Bibi doing in the midst of the biggest financial crisis to hit Israel in over 40 years? It’s a pantomime. .
