New Sounds from Animal Collective
Animal Collective has resurfaced with a new 7 inch single. The new originals “Honeycomb” and “Gotham” appear on the 7” which will be available from Domino Records on June 26. The music can be heard here. In the interim a digital bundle is available for download right now (one can also pre-order the single and receive the mp3s right away).
Last month the group launched its Transverse Temporal Gyrus website featuring a free downloadable audio player that recreates the computer program designed for its March 2010 Guggenheim Museum installation that allows visitors to create their own sound collages.
