Mickey Hart Band Releases First Single, Announces Live Webcast

The Mickey Hart Band have released the first single, “Slow Joe Rain”, off of their forthcoming album Mysterium Tremendum, due out April 10. You can download the track for free in exchange for your email over at Mickey Hart’s website.. On the single, Tim Hockenberry delivers lyrics penned by Robert Hunter. The song features guest appearances by Steve Kimock, Hunter, and vocal samples of Nigerian drummer/social activist Babatunde Olatunji.

To hear more songs from Mysterium Tremendum, fans can pre-order the album via Hart’s website to receive five tracks from the record instantly.

In addition, The Mickey Hart Band have also announced a live USTREAM webcast on April 4th at 930 PM EST where they will be performing songs from their new album at Madrone Studios in San Francisco, CA. Fans can view the live webcast on Hart’s website.
