The Black Keys, Umphrey’s McGee, TV On The Radio and Snoop Dogg Set for Catalpa

The Black Keys and Umphrey’s McGee, the two groups who have graced the last two Relix covers, will help anchor the lineup at the inaugural Catalpa Festival, which will take place at Randall’s Island in New York City on July 28-29. Other performers include TV On The Radio and Snoop Dogg (who will perform his 1993 debut, Doggystyle, in its entirety). The full lineup, which has yet to be revealed, will feature over 50 artists from a diverse mix of genres. Additional announced acts include City and Colour, The Big Pink, Felix da Housecat, araabMUZIK, and Fort Atlantic.
The festival will also provide a series of art installations, a silent disco tent, bumper cars, and a selection of top quality eateries. One particularly noteworthy inclusion is the High Times Magazine curated Reggae Stage, which will feature The High Times Cannabis Cup Band along with guest artists, DJs, Bob Marley Tributes and some heady Nyabinghi drumming sessions.
Early-bird weekend and VIP passes can now be purchased via the Catalpa Festival website.
