Director of The Kid Stays in the Picture and Chicago 10 To Take on The Stones
Brett Morgen is well known for his documentary films that blend narrative, animation and a variety of filmmaking techniques. He is now well under way on his next project as the director of The Kid Stays in the Picture and Chicago 10 will direct a film on the 50 year career of the Rolling Stones. As he told Rolling Stone magazine, ““For anyone who wants to experience the band, this is the film that will defy convention and create a sonic tapestry to transport viewers into the world of the Rolling Stones. The film will deliver the original, bold, sexy and dangerous flavor of the iconic rock band.” The as yet untitled documentary is set for a September release.
