Widespread Panic Will Offer Live Wood on Record Store Day

Widespread Panic will release a limited edition Record Store Day LP, Live Wood, on April 21. As its title suggests, the album features highlights live from the band’s recent Wood Tour— Panic’s first fully acoustic tour and last before an extended hiatus for the rest of 2012. Each LP will be pressed on 180g clear vinyl with a numbered jacket and will include seven songs: “Blue Indian,” “Degenerate,” “Tall Boy,” “Ballad of John and Yoko,” “Tail Dragger,” “Fishing” and “Many Rivers To Cross.” This is the first Panic album to feature the band’s new covers of Vic Chesnutt’s “Degenerate,” The Beatles’ “Ballad of John and Yoko” and Jimmy Cliff’s “Many Rivers to Cross.”
