Davy Jones Passes Away

The Monkees lead singer, Davy Jones, has died at the age of 66. According to sources, Jones suffered a heart attack this morning in Stuart, FL after being admitted to a hospital for chest pains late last night. The legendary pop star is survived by his wife Jessica and four daughters from previous marriages.

Jones joined The Monkees in 1965 alongside Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith and Peter Tork and was the lead singer on hit tunes such as “Daydream Believer,” “I Wanna Be Free” and many others. The Monkees embarked on their first tour in nearly a decade last summer, however, it was cut short due to complications on the road.

just a warning, ugtohh (because ever since I had my first baby and it was so friggin hard and I felt so betrayed by every damn woman who had ever gone before me and not TOLD ME THIS COULD HAPPEN, it has become my god-given calling to be the parenting voice of doom). Her idea of a pretty picture might be in a Barbie coloring book that you got at Walmart her favorite store, BTW and her idea of pretty music might be pulling on her toy Elmo’s string (“lalala.lalala.elmo’sworld.”) over and over and over and over and over and over. marketers have superpowers. (I’m married to one; I know.) this is something you might not be able to stop ;-)
