Spiritualized Share a New track, Album Details

English space rock outfit Spiritualized have released the first track from their forthcoming album Sweet Heart Sweet Light, which comes out April 17 on Fat Possum. The new track (streaming below), titled “Hey Jane”, is a 9 minute journey split into two halves—one side feel-good rock, the other an extended psychedelic jam. Spiritualized have also shared cover art for the new album, which can be seen above.
According to the release, the album features a track, “I Am What I Am,” co-written by frontman Jason Pierce with help from “Mac” Rebennack, aka Dr. John in addition to a guest appearance by Pierce’s 11 year old daughter Poppy Spaceman on closer “So Long You Pretty Thing.” The full tracklist can be see below.
