Fund Established To Aid Ailing RatDog Bassist
Sweet Relief Musicians Fund, a 501©3 non-profit charity, has set up a fund to assist RatDog bassist Robin Sylvester. The bassist has faced severe health issues for several years, which caused him to miss RatDog’s final pre-hiatus shows in 2010 as well as the group’s recent reunion performances. Though Sylvester played a few shows in 2011, he has been hospitalized for several months and is now awaiting a kidney transplant. Funds from the Robin Sylvester Fund will be used to offset his medical bills, cost of a transplant and vital living expenses. For more information on the fund or to contribute, please click here.
