RatDog Shares Rehearsal Footage with Relix

RatDog return to the stage for the first time in almost two years for a performance at Bob Weir’s TRI Studios this evening. This will be RatDog’s first gig since January 31, 2010. Though originally scheduled to perform with the band, bassist Robin Sylvester will be unable to attend tonight’s show due to health reasons. In addition to the rest of RatDog’s most recent lineup, the show will feature founding RatDog bassist Rob Wasserman, onetime RatDog horn player Dave Ellisand guitarist Steve Kimock, who toured with the group while Mark Karan was battling cancer in 2007. The ensemble regrouped at TRI yesterday for a rehearsal, which was documented by Justin Kreutzmann and the TRI team.
TRI has shared some exclusive footage of “New Minglewood Blues” from yesterday’s rehearsal with Relix , which is now streaming in our video section. Tune into TRI Studios at 5pm PST (8pm EST) tonight to catch RatDog’s reunion performance. For more on Weir and RatDog, be sure to reread our 2005 cover story on the group
