Papa Grows Funk Previews New Album Co-Produced by Allen Toussaint and Tom Drummond
New Orleans-based “Papa Grows Funk”: has enlisted some notable area residents to co-produce its forthcoming studio album. The legendary Allen Toussaint and Better Than Ezra’s Tom Drummond shared the duties on Needle In The Groove, which is set for a March 27 release. The first track from Needle In The Groove, entitled “Do U Want It” has just premiered on Relix.com. The group will support the disc with a series of dates over the months to follow.
