Neil Young Working On New Album with Crazy Horse

Neil Young is reportedly working on a new album with his old pals in Crazy Horse. According to the Neil Young Thrasher’s Wheat fan page, in a public discussion with filmmaker Jonathan Demme at this past weekend’s Slamdance Festival in Colorado, Young mentioned he is currently recording with Crazy Horse and that one album is complete with another in the making. If this speculation proves to be true, this will be the first time Young has released material featuring the band since 2003’s Greendale (the last album to feature the entire lineup was 1996’s Broken Arrow).
As for the completed album, Rolling Stone reports that Young discussed a never-released LP with Crazy Horse called Toast in 2000. Speculation has it that this will be the second album to come from Neil & Crazy Horse.
