Sublime with Rome Minus One

Founding Sublime drummer Bud Gaugh will leave the group’s current incarnation Sublime with Rome in order to spend more time with his family. “The story is that I’m gonna be a dad here again real soon, and I just want to be there for my family,” the 44-year-old said prior to an acoustic show in Los Angeles. Sublime with Rome announced that Josh Freese will join Rome Ramirez and original Sublime bassist Eric Wilson following Gaugh’s departure.

Sublime with Rome recently released Yours Truly, the first album since Sublime called it quits following lead singer and guitarist Bradley Nowell’s death in 1996.
