Halloween Treats from Medeski Martin & Wood and Antibalas
Medeski Martin & Wood and Antibalas will tour the Northeast during Halloween weekend. The three-show run will move from Washington, DC’s 9:30 Club on October 27 to Philadelphia’s Electric Factory on October 28 and New York’s Terminal 5 on October 29. Each band will offer one full set on their own, followed by a set with both groups performing together. According to MMW, “MMW + Antibalas are preparing for rehearsals where they will develop concepts and new material.” A limited edition poster will mark the occasion and will be available at all three of these performances. MMW have collaborated with members of the Antibalas and Daptone family on Halloween a few occasions in the past.
