Grace Potter & the Nocturnals Announce Goodnight Irene: Flood Relief Benefit

Grace Potter was raised in Waitsfield, Vermont one of the towns still reeling in the wake of floods produced by Hurricane Irene last month. So, quite fittingly, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals have announced their plans for a benefit show to raise funds for area residents. The Goodnight Irene: Flood Relief Benefit will take place at the Flynn Theatre in Burlington on Sunday October 9 and will be preceded by a silent auction at Burlington City Arts/Firehouse Galley from 5-8 PM. Tickets for Flynn event will go on sale Tuesday September 20 and range from $30 for balcony, $50 for floor reserved, and $250 for Gold Circle, which includes cocktail reception and a meet and greet. The band’s stated goal is to raise a minimum of $100,000.
