Bob Weir, Karl Denson and Ian Neville To Join Slightly Stoopid Webcast

As previously reported, Slightly Stoopid will perform at Bob Weir’s TRI Studios on Tuesday, September 13 as part of a live Pay-Per-View webcast. The band will perform two sets—one acoustic, another electric—and partake in the first-ever live Stoopid Q&A, with fans communicating with the band via onscreen Facebook and Twitter feeds. In addition to previously announced guests Karl Denson and Don Carlos (Black Uhuru), Slightly Stoopid have now confirmed that both Weir and Ian Neville (Dumpstaphunk, Funky Meters) will sit in at various points throughout the broadcast.
The show will air live at www.tristudios.com at 6:00pm PDT, and will also be offered on re-play at 9:00pm PDT. Each stream costs $10.00 for access. Band members will also be featured speakers at the SFMusicTech Summit on Monday, September 12, 2011, in support of this broadcast.
