Moogfest Expands Lineup

TV on the Radio, EOTO, Special Disco Version featuring James Murphy and Pat Mahoney (DFA/LCD Soundsystem), St. Vincent, Flying Lotus, Fareed Haque + MathGames and Beats Antique are among the latest additions to Moogfest 2011. The festival’s other recent additions include: Zomby, SBTRKT, Yacht, John Maus, Childish Gambino, The Drums, Baths, Savoy, Araabmuzik, Cloudland Canyon, Grimes, Mimi Goese & Ben Neill, Moon Duo, Warm Ghost and Fine Peduncle. These acts join a stacked lineup that also includes: The Flaming Lips, Umphrey’s McGee, Moby, Passion Pit, STS9 and Tangerine Dream, among others. Last week, the festival also added Brian Eno’s 77 Million Paintings and “Illustrated Talks.” Moogfest 2011 will take place throughout Asheville, NC from October 28-30.
