The Chris Robinson Brotherhood Finally Heads East

Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson recently announced an extensive summer tour with his new The Chris Robinson Brotherhood. After an extensive series of California dates, the group will finally cross the country. In addition to Robinson, the band’s lineup will include Neal Casal (guitar), Adam MacDougall (keyboards), George Sluppick (drums) and Mark “Muddy” Dutton (bass). The setlists for this tour will be filled with new material, as well as Black Crowes originals and surprise covers.
A stretch of dates in August will pair the Brotherhood with The J. Geils Band, a group best known for their song “Centerfold” which reached the number one spot on the Billboard charts in February of 1982. In addition, Grateful Dead member Bob Weir and singer/songwriter Jackie Greene will join Robinson for a show at The Rocky Mountain Folks Festival on Saturday, August 20 in Lyons, CO.
