Arcade Fire Looks Back to 1983 with Cindy Lauper

Arcade Fire made its first appearance at New Orleans’ Jazz & Heritage Festival this past Friday. During its encore, Arcade Fire invited out fellow JazzFest performer Cyndi Lauper for her own hit song “Girls Just Want to Have Fun.” Lauper remained onstage as the group jumped into “Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)” from its recent album The Suburbs. After Lauper left the stage, The group then closed its show with “Wake Up.” Arcade Fire will perform at Bonnaroo this June.
