I was once a Chicago resident and deicded to venture out and leave, not because of violence but just to live in a warmer climate. I was outrage about the deaths of Blair Holt’s, Charinez Jefferson, Arianna Gibson, Marcus Miller, and PhD candidate Amadou Cisse. Everyday I read the Chicago news on the internet and I get so sadden that all these senseless killings are going on. I think better Gun laws should be in place and enforced, and those who abuse it should face harsh penalties. Training and guidance starts at home. More programs should be started to educate those less fortunate of having two parents in the home. Fathers should start being better fathers to their sons. Maybe this is a start to rid of some or most of the violence that plagues our inner cities.
