My Morning Jacket to Play Hometown Show, Stream New Song

My Morning Jacket will celebrate the release of Circuital with a hometown performance at Louisville, Kentucky’s Louisville Palace Theatre the day of the album’s release, May 31. Going along with the popular trend, the band has created a special invite video for the show. The group will likely debut a number of the album’s tracks at the special show. A $1 from every ticket sold will go to benefit The Center for Women and Families. Audience members are encouraged to bring a pre-loved backpack to donate to “Blessings In A Backpack“. Fan club pre-sale will begin at 12 noon EST tomorrow, Tuesday April 26.
A version of the Circuital track “Holdin on to Black Metal” is now streaming on the group’s Facebook page. Please click here to order a copy of the June issue of Relix featuring MMJ on the cover.
