The Avett Brothers, STS9, Grace Potter, KDTU, Brandi Carlile Join Hangout Music Festivasl

The Hangout Beach, Music & Arts Festival has confirmed a second round of artists. The Avett Brothers, STS9, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, JJ Grey and Mofro, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Brandi Carlile, Railroad Earth, Big Gigantic, Soja, Greensky Bluegrass, Rival Sons and Honey Island Swamp Band all will appear at the festival which will return to Gulf Shores, AL on May 20-22. These groups will join such artists as: Widespread Panic, Paul Simon, Foo Fighters, My Morning Jacket, The Black Keys, Flaming Lips, Cee Lo Green, Primus, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Matisyahu, Keller Williams, Girl Talk, G. Love & Special Sauce, Medeski, Martin & Wood, Warren Haynes Band, Umphrey’s McGee, Slightly Stoopid, Drive-By Truckers, Amos Lee and Old Crow Medicine Show. This year the Hangout is adding a fifth stage under an air-conditioned tent and also is offering, “Hammock Beach, a replenishing salt-water lagoon where music fans will find shade, hammocks, and art installations.” Tickets to the festival, including VIP packages, are now on sale.
