Ryan Adams Returns

Ryan Adams has confirmed his first tour dates since 2009. With the exception of a few stealth metal shows and a benefit performance this past November, Adams has not performed publicly in recent years.

In a message the guitarist posted, “I wrote some new tunes this winter on my acoustic guitar. I think I’d like to play them for whoever wants to hear them. Please don’t yell at me.” Adams has tested out new material during previous European tours. Adams debuted a few new songs during his recent benefit appearance, including “Ashes & Fire,” “Dirty Rain” and “Shining Thru The Dark.”

I am afraid that I shall be unlabe to play at the Paignton Congress, which is most frustrating. I should like nothing better than to match wits with Michael Adams, because there is nothing like learning from the best. I know he would obliterate me. I would pay good money for the privilege of being obliterated by Michael Adams.
