Relix Publisher To Revisit Tie-Died Documentary During Live Chat

Relix and Jambands.com publisher Peter Shapiro was still a film student at Northwestern University when he produced the documentary Tie-Died, which explored the lives of Deadheads. The film, premiered at the 1995 Sundance Film Festival where it was nominated for Best Documentary. On Wednesday January 26, BigLive.com will live stream Tie-Died, which screened nationally in over 200 theaters back in 1995. Shapiro will participate in the event as the “super chatter,” on hand to offer commentary as the movie plays live. It should be a busy night for Shapiro (who also owns Brooklyn Bowl) as Tie-Died will screen at 8PM Eastern, then again at 8PM Central and once more at 8PM Pacific time.
