Mountain Jam 2011: My Morning Jacket, Spearhead, Avett Brothers Join The Mule, New Warren Haynes Band

The seventh annual Mountain Jam Music Festival will return to Hunter Mountain, in Hunter, NY on June 2-5. Once again the mighty Gov’t Mule will anchor the festival, performing its seventh consecutive headlining gig on Saturday the 4th. In addition, Warren Haynes will bring his new Warren Haynes Band to the event, for its debut northeast festival appearance. Michael Franti & Spearhead will make a sixth straight Mountain Jam appearance while My Morning Jacket is back after five years. The event also will offer music from The Avett Brothers, North Mississippi Allstars, Béla Fleck & The Flecktones, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Electric Hot Tuna, Mavis Staples, Portugal. The Man, Tim Reynolds & TR3,Toubab Krewe and many others. Early bird tickets are now on sale at the Mountain Jam site.
