Wakarusa 2011: My Morning Jacket, Ben Harper, Umphrey’s McGee, STS9, Thievery Corporation, Michael Franti

The 8th Annual installment of Wakarusa will return to Mulberry Mountain in Ozark, Arkansas on June 2-5. The event will offer more than 80 consecutive hours of music, much of which has just been confirmed. My Morning Jacket will headline the festival, joined by such acts as Ben Harper and the Relentless 7, Umphrey’s McGee, Thievery Corporation, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings and North Mississippi Allstars. Numerous additional artists have been confirmed to deliver two sets at the festival, including: STS9, Galactic, Ozomatli, Hot Buttered Rum, Split Lip Rayfield, Cornmeal, ekoostik hookah, EOTO and Rebelution. Dark Star Orchestra is slated to deliver a three hour performance at Wakarusa. “Early Bird” tickets, VIP passes, RV packages and camping passes are all on sale now at the festival website, with the full confirmed line-up below.
