Treme Returns, Musicians Share Christmas
The HBO Series Treme returns to television this month as the network has started airing the first season of the show once again (second two will debut in April). Treme follows the lives of New Orleans residents looking to rebuild following Hurricane Katrina, with a partiucular emphasis on musicians. Two of the acts that appear on the program are Rebirth Brass Band and Kermit Ruffins and the Barbecue Swingers (Ruffins, in particular, has a recurring role). Both of these groups will take the stage together on December 25 in NOLA. The Christmas Throwdown set to begin shortly after 10 PM at Howlin’ Wolf.
