Two Days After Release from Hospital, Levon Helm Returns to the Stage
Turn down your sound as this is oversaturated but it’s a glimpse of Levon back in action
One week ago Levon Helm was forced to sit out his Midnight Ramble when he was hospitalized as a precautionary measure due to his chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. On Thursday the 70 year old drummer was released from the hospital and on Saturday night he returned to the stage. Helm appeared with his steady group, along with Steve Jordan (Keith Richards, Eric Clapton, John Mayer Trio). There is no Ramble next weekend due to the Christmas holiday but Levon and his group will be back for a New Year’s Eve Ramble on Friday, December 31.
