Matisyahu’s New Band Features Familiar Faces

Matisyahu backed by Dugan and Marscher

Matisyahu decided to tour with only Dub Trio instead of his usual backing musicians for much of 2010. However, the singer will continue to perform with several of his former bandmates and regular collaborators in the new rock band Cloud Runner. In addition to Matis, the group will feature past Matisyahu band members Aaron Dugan (guitar), Jason Fraticelli (bass) and Rob Marscher (keyboards), along with Mark Guiliana (drums). The band will make its debut at New York’s Mercury Lounge on January 26.

The thought of your seeawed nose tampons was gift enough! I’m a shiksa mama of two girls and am running behind in two cultures, so I appreciate the lateness of your Hannukah wishes. Baby number two made her impending presence felt this time last year. Thanks for the Elmo reminder of why she was known as Veronica Harmonica in utero! Coulda been Judah, but she is a girl. Two candles of thanks for the shot of Han Solo!!
