Pegi Young Enlists Neil
Earlier this year Pegi Young recorded Foul Deeds, the follow-up to her 2007 self-titled debut. On Sunday night at Don Quixote’s International Music Hall in Felton, CA she performed a number of songs from the new album with an impressive backing band. She was joined by her husband Neil on electric guitar, harmonica and backing vocals as well as Spooner Oldham (keyboards), Kelvin Holly (electric guitar), Rick Rosas (bass) and Phil Jones (drums). The twelve song set included such compositions as “Pleasing to Me,” “Body Breaks” and the title track of her new disc.
