The Beatles Commit to iTunes, Paul McCartney Set for Apollo Theater

After many years of delay, the Beatles catalog finally will be made available on iTunes. The group’s 13 remastered studio albums will be available for $12.99, or as double albums for $19.99. The individual songs will be priced at $1.29 apiece. The solo recordings of Paul McCartney, John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr have been sold on iTunes for quite some time but the Beatles as an entity had held out.
As for the members’ solo careers, on Monday, December 13 Paul McCartney will appear at Harlem’s Apollo Theater. This will be an exclusive, invitation-only concert for SIRIUS XM listeners in conjunction with the release of “Paul McCartney’s Band on the Run Radio.” This month-long 24/7 commercial-free music channel will launch on Monday, November 29 at 3:00 pm ET and air through Sunday, December 26 at 11:59 pm ET on SIRIUS channel 33 and XM channel 27.
