The Feelies Return to Studio 20 Years Later

The Feelies last studio album was 1991’s Time For A Witness. However on July 4, 2008, the group’s classic lineup returned for a performance at New York’s Battery Park opening for Sonic Youth. The New Jersey-based group has just completed the basic tracks for a new album, which is set for release on Bar/None this coming spring. The group’s Glenn Mercer and Bill Million are producing the disc, and while an extensive tour is not expected the band will certainly perform some gigs in support of the new release.
