David Letterman and Stephen Colbert Welcome Mavis Staples and Jeff Tweedy

As noted in Sunday installment of “Rocking The Box” blog, Jambands.com’s weekly look at live music on late night TV, Mavis Staples and Jeff Tweedy will perform together twice this week. Tonight the two will appear on The Late Show with David Letterman in support of Staples’ new album, You Are Not Alone, which Tweedy produced. Then on Wednesday the pair will make their way to the Colbert Report for what should be an interesting segment.

To learn more about the collaboration of Staples and Tweedy on You Are Not Alone, check out the feature story recently posted to Relix.com.

There is a sequel to this book. From my usddrntaneing she passed away before being able to entirely finish it, though. I read this book years ago and enjoyed it, but even though the sequel is on my TBR pile I have never decided to read it. I am worried, I guess.
