New Music, Tour Dates for Wilco’s John Stirratt and Patrick Sansone
Back in 1994, bassist John Stirratt joined fellow Uncle Tupelo alum Jeff Tweedy in the founding of Wilco. Six years later he formed the group The Autumn Defense with multi-instrumentalist Patrick Sansone. In 2004, Sansone became a member of Wilco but the pair have continued to record and perform as The Autumn Defense whenever available. Their new album Once Around isn’t due until November 2nd but they have made the first single “Back of My Mind” available online. In addition, the pair have announced a tour a in support of Once Around, with the first show set to kick off on November 6 at the Acorn Theatre in Three Oaks, MI
