Guitarist Jimmy Vivino will serve as musical director for Conan O’Brien’s new TBS talk show, according to the Associated Press. The Fab Faux guitarist is a longtime member of O’Brien’s house band and acted as bandleader when Max Weinberg was on tour with Bruce Springsteen. Weinberg served as O’ Brien’s musical director for 17 years on Late Night and The Tonight Show. “Max has been a huge part of my life for the past 17 years and he is an incredible band leader and musician,” O’Brien said in a statement. “I hope he can find time to stop by the show, sit in with the band and pretend to find my monologue funny.”
